All animate and inanimate objects in nature have a unique sonic or vibratory signature. For example, the Earth resonates at 7.6 Hz. Each person also has a personalized sonic signature. Think for a moment of the voice qualities of some of your best friends. Perhaps one friend1s voice is high pitched, while another is like a deep groan. These voices are the result of many factors such as the persons1 size, their voice box and even where they were raised and learned to speak. In the Oriental perspective, the sounds and voices that we emit are a reflection of your inner energetic balance.

Each organ in the body also has a vibratory signature and has a unique sound that is believed to be healing. To assist you with gaining a clear understanding of this valuable healing tool, a description of each sound will be provided. Additionally, a suggested technique to produce the sound and an associated body posture will be provided.

Once the sound and the body posture have been achieved, the energetic imprinting of this technique will be anchored into the body. This is achieved through visualization; affirmation and providing self-acupressure to the recommended point. The suggested point is provided for each of the five elements, or energies, of nature and your body.

It is recommended that these imprinting procedures be practiced daily, utilizing clear intention and determination to sonically harmonize your body and spirit. Please keep in mind the following suggestions as you practice the soundscapes:

  1. Once the basic technique is learned and the energetics is anchored, you have the option of only doing the sound voicing. It is optimal to complete the entire process, but if time is of a factor, it is best to complete at least the voicing.
  2. Remember that each meridian (energy flow line) is composed of a yin (negative) and a yang (positive) organ and that the meridian has numerous positive and negative (evolving) qualities attributed to it. It is recommended that during the soundscapes empowerment, you breathe in the positive quality and with full intent breathe out the evolving quality. For example, the wood element has the positive quality of flexibility and acceptance and the evolving quality of releasing pent-up anger. Oriental Medicine is rich with relativity; everything being in perpetual transition and evolution. This is true when considering words such as positive and negative (evolving).
  3. During the Post-soundscapes segment, you are asked to visualize a particular color and to bring this colorized energetic vibration into your energy field. Bring full artistic intent and self-empowerment to this empowerment strategy.
