As a former medical doctor, I specialized in the Japanese Toyo Hari system of acupuncture, where the most of the practitioners are visually blind and have therefore developed incredible skills in sensing the body's energy system.

I have been able to successfully synthesize both the Toyo Hari traditions and Western strategies of healing into several very approachable and 'real' workshop experiences.

I have been honored with the unique opportunity to be the acupuncturist/ drummer for many traditions, including the Tibetans, Cuanderos (healers) from Peru, Belize, Mexico and Native American cultures. When you are traveling in the mountains, rainforest and sacred terrains, acupuncture is the 'perfect' healing modality where with just a few needles, and a dash of experience, you are ready to assist with the health needs of the local population.

Because of the relationship that was developed with and through providing medical care, I was blessed to be permitted to audio/video record many slices of their cultural and spiritual expressions. These soundscapes include incredible sounds of the land, the sky and the unspoken mysteries, that can be just as profound as the verbal renderings.

In my home recording studio with the 'help' of musicians and friends, I have been creating unique blends of natural and synthesized sounds. These expressions are then intricately woven into a multitude of sound tapestries for personal journey and transformation. . To this sound pallet I also add pulsing rhythms and harmonies. The music is rich and diverse and will become a personal mantra for your sonic inhalation.
