Reiki is believed to be based on a
century old ancient Tibetan Buddhist healing technique called Medicine
Buddha. Currently there are over 1/2 million individuals practicing
Reiki spanning the globe. |

A Reiki treatment is a light, hands-on
process whereby a Reiki practitioner transfers "universal life
energy" to a recipient or to oneself. The Reiki treatment session
is "healing" and empowering for both the receiver and practitioner. |

Reiki can be learned and "mastered"
by anyone. One just needs the intent to learn Reiki. The learning
process consists of receiving various levels of symbols and attunements.
An attunement is like fine -tuning the reception of a radio station.
Once you receive these attunements, you are ready to begin using your
newfound skills and healing energies. |
